Awesome client, great culture, growth mindset, benefits needs improvement, warm office
Pros
- since it’s a BPO, employees are governed by the rules and agreement with the company and the client. Our client is the best — they’re the best that I have worked with. - work-life balance - has strong values they are determined to uphold - has coaching sessions and has a growth mindset - knows how to value and engage employees - leads listen and value feedback - great culture, no discrimination - pantry has food though not free - nice location - two monitors - work from home is allowed (but varies depending on client/account) - flexi-time (varies) - has employee recognition system / above and beyond to recognize efforts and increase employee morale - great relationship and support from management - has clubs and sportsfest
Cons
- there is preference for some accounts so they get the better pantry and game room etc - little to NO benefits - no training allowance or subsidy (or there should be a long discussion to get it) i.e. we - no subsidy for certifications / professional growth - no focus on professional growth or opportunities probably because it’s a BPO Company with varied accounts as opposed to IT companies - HOT because the building is old (seriously I have two desk fans) - no transportation allowance or company shuttle - seriously, the benefits are extremely lacking - no game room (we play card / board games in the pantry) - some tiny bugs in the pantry (though this has improved significantly since the first time i was here) - no coffee machine (mix2 lang)
