Pros

You get to help people and feel good about helping other people live longer life.

Cons

So top heavy with a bunch of people who are just an echo chamber for all their own bad ideas. If you are not in the clique you are worthless to them. Most of leadership is two faced, dishonest and manipulative, here for paychecks and screwing you over. The CEO, COO, and 17 million Vice Presidents work little to never, support no one in the company except themselves and are so far removed from what the real staff are actually doing. They are more concerned about people who do not work here than the people who do. They do not care about you, period. There is no room for upward movement (unless you are in the clique! Then they will fire anyone for any reason to promote you) and even in your regular role you will not be able to contribute because they will not value any opinion coming from outside their clique. HR is a nightmare, they are the most corrupt and manipulative, and steer far way from them and any of the departments that brag about how great HR is.

Pros

Working three 12-hour shifts a week leads to living a flexible lifestyle.

Cons

The bosses heavily play favorites so if you're not in, you're out. Many people that work at the organization are completely unaware of what hard work others are doing in other departments which makes your job harder at times.

Pros

Been with the company a month and a half and there are plenty of amenities and benefits I really enjoy about IL that I haven’t gotten or been offered anywhere else. There’s freedom and flexibility and I’m getting a collaborative, non-toxic vibe from the managers and above. I very much enjoy the atmosphere and the learning so far.

Cons

There’s a lot to learn and it’s not light learning. The hiring process was a bit long but not sure if that was due to the recent merger or that’s just how it operates normally. Give yourself a moth to a month and a half to get all the steps of the interview done. And the hire dates are usually at the beginning of each month.
