Everyone is trying to leave

Pros

They have great a training program. If you have never traded before, they will teach you how. Great place to start your career and pay your dues (if you can get through your first year) for that reason alone.

Cons

The culture no longer exists. 50% of employees are looking to leave. Everyone walks around feeling like they have a target on their back. HR doesn't handle departures well and are constantly hiring. The place is a revolving door at the moment and is a totally different company from just a few years ago. Sadly the "Leadership Team" seems to think these are just growing pains and necessary to survive. Good luck. It once was a great place to work. So it might have a chance at being a great place again. But right now it is just sad.

An ok place to work if you have average skills

Pros

Casual environment, friendly people, a lot of the New Age Christian leadership stuff / life coaching if you are into that. Benefits are good as well

Cons

Literally the most inexperienced people in derivatives trading run this place and come up with all of the business direction. I can't tell you how many people are "head of" this or that and have literally never had a job before coming to this place. You mostly work with inexperienced kids who think they are amazing at trading or technology; they will generally not hire experienced people from higher-tier firms. There is also a good deal of manipulation that goes on due to the mostly 20 something staff from upper management, or "The Leadership Team" as they refer to themselves. There is a ton of nepotism - I can't tell you how many people who work there have a job - even a trading job - because they are "Church Friends" with two of the owners. Looking busy, staying late, and talking about what a hard worker you are is championed over intelligence and being truly good at what you do.

Pros

Was a good place to start career. I was motivated to work hard/learn and grow my skill set throughout my time at Infinium. I do think that many leaders genuinely cared about employees.

Cons

High-level management lacked experience/maturity. While the HF tide was rising the mentality was focused on pretending to be a larger company, this led to excessive expenses and poor hires.
