Pros
The only Pros are SOME of the employees ( Nurses,techs,maintenance etc) and the convenient location in Mobile Alabama. At one time it was the pay but no amount of pay is worth what you have to put up with there.
Cons
The administrative body of this healthcare system are self righteous,egotistical and Idiotic.They are so rotten and corrupt that they have to rely on intimidation and coercion to maintain enough employees to keep the doors open.The degree of ineptitude of the managers,supervisors,human resources personnel and administrative staff is unprecedented and completely mind boggling. What kind of hospital would make a statement to new hire nurses and professional healthcare employees "as a employee of MIMC you will do whatever you are told. If we tell you to wash the CEOs car you will wash the CEOs car!" and . " as a MIMC employee you do not have a right to a lunch break; this is a courtesy that we provide" what a horrible way to treat employees!! How can a hospital as awful as MIMC keep their accreditation? Where is JCAHO? Where is the Alabama State Dept of Health?
