Pros

- Location Location Location - You can pretty much attend interviews over lunch without being discovered

Cons

- APAC Client Services/Sales is a mess - claiming to be a young team but they are more like deadwood who can't move elsewhere - Outdated product/licensing models that fails to stand up against competition - Poor pay and no entertainment/expense budget - Huge favoritism

Rude and condescending staff at the Sydney office which causal racism was common, unfriendly stare was common between white and non white employees. Who do you think you are really? Unproductive and gossiping environment in general, no one wants to hear about your (failed) love life in the office all day every day. Did I mention about alcoholism? You wouldn't be loved office wide if you are a teetotaller because they'll label you as "boring". Learning curve was steep on products covered, yet there was no ramp up period nor training provided to front line sales staff. There were NO product roadmap on the market intelligence platforms they offered, promising customer about their "customized research" but abandoning project was not uncommon. Moreover they struggled, yet failed to keep up with their competitors while I worked there Tools of trade - there were none! Non functioning CRM with no visibility of pipeline, everything was done manually and that eats into productivity. Micromanaging management does not value staff putting in extra hours covering multiple time zones in a short staffed environment, while they go for 2-3 hour lunches as they wish or not showing up at pre booked meetings. Pay was horrendously low and they actually had the guts calling themself a "technology" company. Come on...

Pros

Fantastic opportunities for career progression and working for a very dynamic and fast paced business. There has been a huge amount of investment so plenty of best in class tools ready at your disposal and there is a very strong senior management team in place. If you are positive and proactive you will find lots of opportunities present themselves.

Cons

there can be a lot of change so be ready to be flexible, proactive and adapt!
