Pros

The pay was ok. I like graphics.

Cons

Absolutly No work-life balance, unrealistic expectations, unorganized, and overworked. I was working at NAVSEA in the Navy Yard in DC. It was the most depressing, unfriendly, and highly stressful govt agency in DC. The supervisor is an extremely workaholic therefore wants us all to be extreme workaholics. Work on holidays even though every other agencys are off! Too many bosses who want to exploit its workers just to climb the ladder. If you're 1 minute late you are fired. Call in sick you are fired. If you don't take on more work with unrealistic deadlines you are fired. PTO is completely low. You have to pay for parking which is always full even though teleworking/ hybrid work can solve all that. Leadership in NAVSEA itself is completely unorganized and overworked with the worst retention I have ever seen due to people quitting every week due to high stress. The company are compleley unsupportive. AVOID AT ALL COST!
