+ For a small/boutique consulting shop mainly related to Oracle ERP implementations and Oracle Apps development, the projects are varied in nature and happen to be at some of the most prestigious companies in the Bay Area (LinkedIn, Yelp, YuMe, Netflix to name a few).. + Flexible work environment. Working from home is available upon request on every requested occasion (varies if you are working at client site compared to working at the Foster City office which is encouraged whenever possible).. + Start-up environment; lax corporate structure but competent managing at the director level create the needed structure to keep projects and activities meeting their benchmarks and targets. + Proven track record of delivering successful ERP implementations and other projects under tight, rigorous deadlines while providing quality results. + Competent and knowledgeable managing directors carrying a breadth of experience in all areas of Oracle ERP (functional and technical). + Good network of working professionals in Oracle (majority of the work) and Java development. + One of the fastest growing Oracle partnerships in the Bay Area.
Cons
- Start-up/small shop structure of the company may be off-putting for employees who need rigidity, structure, and clear guidelines in order to perform their duties. - Pay structure is not as competitive as other bigger, more established consulting firms given the company's period of transitioning from small to medium size and also generating bigger and newer contracts. - Expenses are not reimbursed. A little disappointing given the increased cost of gas since some client locations are in San Francisco and farther than Foster City. - Annual bonuses are not guaranteed.
