Pros

You get a paycheck and that is about the best thing I can say!

Cons

Micromanaging is in full swing; the good ole boy mentality is the foundation. If you are one the the guys that has been around for awhile, you have all the support and pay increases you want. If you are a new hire they nit pick everything you do even if they have no knowledge in the area you are working in. Poor benefits, below average pay, regardless of what they post in their job adds. Dispatchers\CSR make more than most engineers and have no technical background or education which causes you to step into customer issues blindly or possibly out of your scope of expertise. No benefit for trying improve your worth by getting certifications or degrees in different areas; some people haven’t had reviews or pay raises in 5 years or more. Engineers are tasked with scoping out jobs for sales representatives who get commission on your work. Strong disconnect from owners and engineers. Bottom line; they try to get as much as they can from you for as little as they can pay you.

Pros

You can learn a few things to jumpstart your IT career if you're lucky.

Cons

Management makes decisions, typically shortsighted ones, only to turn a profit. This is done at the expense of employees and clients alike, both of which regarded as "too dumb" to know any better. When I left year, most employees had either left or are in the process of leaving. This negligent behavior includes: 1. Bottom of the barrel pay. 2. Misrepresenting offerings to clients. 3. Lack of transparency whatsoever between management and employees. 4. Not paying employees for after hours and emergency hours work. 5. Condescending attitude towards "lowly" employees. A strong focus on 1970s-esque bro culture. 6. Extreme micromanagement. 7. Conversations with management only happen when being punished. 8. Faking positive reviews on certain websites. 9. Near zero opportunities for growth and promotion. Promotions, rarely given, come without raise. 10. Lack of cross-company communication between sales, account managers, and engineers. Almost daily foot-in-mouth moments. 11. No culture whatsoever. I strongly advise any prospective employees to do thorough research before considering. There are too many better places to work than waste time with this company. Any former or current employees (that's not management) will wholly agree.

Growing company, needs better benefits

Pros

Everyone is easy to get along with. There is a constant push to improve ourselves and our company. It's nice to work with so many different types of customers.

Cons

Low compensation. Not a lot of room for promotions or lateral movement within the company. Healthcare benefits are not good and amount of PTO is also low.
