I liked some of the people I worked with and made some new friends :) I liked the Pitt St location and the office fit out.

Cons

My manager was a micro-manager, critical, distrustful of others, impulsive, reactive, threatening and intimidating. She would frequently change decisions and direction. The work load was unreasonable, the systems we used were really old, we were also required to duplicate our work and about 80% of my work was administration. The company cares little for employees reporting to GMs and I never felt anyone noticed me or acknowledged my achievements.

I cannot think of a good reason to work at Ingenia Communities

Cons

There are fundamental flaws with the business - despite being a public company, profit and loss are tracked in a very loose way; there is not real revenue or pipeline forecasting. Senior management structure is misaligned - job titles aside, there is not really anyone responsible for Marketing, IT, Operations. The company's focus seem to be on positive reporting rather than really positive performance.

Decent Christmas party. Other than that I cannot think about anything positive.

Cons

Pay for support staff and frontline staff is shocking. The worst place I’ve worked in my entire career. Senior management have absolutely no idea and only “react” to the CEOs demands. There is an incredibly high turnover rate for a reason, this is an absolutely toxic place to work. Hours are long, expectations are unrealistic and the wrong people are in the wrong positions.
