Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate your comments and are taking them into consideration.
To address the most important issue you raise - your comments about “bullying from top managers”. This is not acceptable at Inhabit. We are committed to providing our employees with a healthy, safe working and inclusive environment that is free from inappropriate and disrespectful behavior. I encourage you to refer to our internal resolution process in our polices to raise and discuss these issues, so that the business can take the necessary steps to address your concerns and ensure a positive outcome as effectively as possible, and ensure we all respect each other and our individual differences. Indeed, please feel free to contact me directly to discuss.
To address your other concerns:
- The Board is focused on the strategic direction of the business, which involved the preparation of a 3-year strategic plan that was shared with all Inhabit staff. Our leadership team are working on developing their team plans in line with this strategy to provide staff with greater clarity and insight on how their individual work and team contributes and supports our organisational strategy. It’s a strength of our business that we aim to continually improve and refine our strategy and action plans to better support our staff.
- I am disappointed that you feel there is a poor work culture and no work-life balance. I do acknowledge that our rapid growth and expansion create challenging times, and this is certainly not reflective of what we are actively striving towards to make Inhabit a better place to work. I have personally seen changes to address workload, improve flexibility, promote greater team communication and connection, so we can feel more united and better supported across the business. We continue to work and progress on these important issues in line with our strategy, as we really do care, as do you, about doing the right thing for our staff. My mantra is that we must continuously learn, to improve in everything we do to better support a healthier and happier work-life balance for our staff. To help address your workload concerns, I encourage you to speak to your team leader(s) so they can work together with you to provide tailored support, review team priorities and work processes as best they can, or take the necessary steps to address workload management with further support. We also encourage feedback through regular one on one conversations with your team leader(s), during check ins, performance reviews, and other avenues.
I also acknowledge that you value our interesting projects, opportunities and remuneration. I am glad these are meeting your expectations and appreciate the feedback. I am so proud of our diversity and valuable individual differences across our business, and of the remarkable and creative work our talented staff do, which inspires me to do better.
I encourage you to have a chat with me anytime to discuss your feedback further.
