Great Colleagues, but Inconsistent Leadership Direction
Pros
Obtained experience to grow to a certain point. Casual and comfortable workplace atmosphere. Colleagues outside of my direct reporting line were some of the best to work with and made the experience enjoyable. I loved getting to know them and they were always welcoming.
Cons
Leadership direction and organizational priorities felt unclear. Expectations frequently shifted which led to constant moving goalposts, guidance sometimes changed after work was completed which turned into frequent back-and-forth due to changing direction. Promised mentorship and growth but never received that. Job security didn't feel consistent because of the limited transparency around feedback. Employees did not always have a clear answer into performance concerns when asked or received any official performance improvement plan prior to separation decisions nor the opportunity to address concerns.
