Pros

Nothing, management just pretends to be nice. They hire everyone.

Cons

This role is not a sales role. It’s telemarketing. As someone who has been in tech sales for a while, I know what drives success long term and this role isn’t it. You are calling leads their clients give you, begging for a meeting. No prospecting training, nothing. Sure the cold calling training isn’t half bad but these skills cannot be built upon elsewhere. This role is also a sales sweatshop. They micromanage everything from tracking how often you are off camera. Onboarding is 5+ hour a day camera on zoom call for 2 weeks lol. Not worth 40k at all smh. This company also cheap as heck. They pretend to care about you when something is going on but they are just happy they don’t have to pay you when you have something going on.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we recognize that Inside Sales Solutions may not be the right fit for everyone, we would like to provide additional context for prospective candidates reading this review. Our SDR role is intentionally focused on developing core business development and sales development skills. This includes prospecting, cold calling, objection handling, discovery, business communication, account research, CRM management, and executive-level outreach. These skills are foundational to many successful careers in technology sales, customer success, account management, business development, and leadership. We respectfully disagree with the characterization that this is simply "telemarketing." Our team supports enterprise and mid-market technology organizations, helping facilitate business conversations that contribute directly to our clients' sales pipelines. Many former employees have leveraged the skills developed here to advance into Account Executive, Customer Success, Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Operations roles both within and outside our organization. Regarding training and management oversight, we are a fully remote company serving global technology clients. Camera-on training, coaching sessions, quality reviews, and performance tracking are intentional elements of our onboarding and development process. These practices help ensure engagement, knowledge retention, professionalism, and client success in a remote environment. We also want to clarify that the company does not withhold pay from employees experiencing personal or medical challenges. Compensation, paid time off, leaves of absence, and benefits are administered in accordance with company policy and applicable employment laws. We strive to support employees through difficult circumstances while balancing the operational needs of the business. Finally, while technology and AI continue to evolve, we believe authentic human conversations, relationship building, critical thinking, and effective communication remain valuable professional skills. Our training programs continue to adapt alongside these changes to ensure our employees remain competitive in a changing marketplace. We appreciate your feedback and wish you success in your future endeavors. — HR Team, Inside Sales Solutions

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that you valued the culture, your colleagues, and the work-life balance. Those are areas we are very intentional about and continue to invest in as we grow. Regarding promotion opportunities, your comment is fair—and it’s also an area we’ve been actively evolving. As the company has scaled, we’ve been building more defined career paths, clearer performance benchmarks, and expanded advancement opportunities across both SDR and BDR tracks. That said, progression here is performance-based and tied to consistency, impact, and readiness for the next level. We appreciate your recognition that this may have already improved, and we remain focused on continuing to strengthen visibility and access to growth for our team. Wishing you all the best in your continued career. HR Team

Pros

Freedom. I worked here, did very little ( ai did my job), and still got paid.

Cons

They started to catch on to my ways. Push back on 1:1's and meeting with your manager. You can drag it out. Use ai to send emails. They want 300 dials, Not this Gen Z my friend.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to be very clear for anyone reading this: the behavior described in this review does not align with the expectations of the role or our company standards. Our BDR position is a performance-based role with clearly defined activity and output expectations, including outbound calling, manager engagement, and accountability in 1:1s. These are not optional components—they are fundamental to both individual success and the results we deliver to clients. Using automation or AI to replace core job responsibilities, avoiding manager touchpoints, or intentionally minimizing effort while remaining employed is a direct violation of company expectations and is addressed when identified. Accountability is not “push back”—it is part of the job. We are transparent during hiring and onboarding about the level of effort, discipline, and consistency required. This role is not designed to be “easygoing,” and those who treat it that way will not be successful here. We do appreciate the feedback around outreach preferences. However, our outreach strategies are driven by client expectations and proven performance metrics. While email plays a role, it does not replace the impact of live conversations in our model. For candidates considering ISS: if you are looking for a role where you can develop real sales skills, be coached, and be held accountable to results, you will find strong opportunity here. If not, this will not be the right fit. HR Team
