The rot starts at the top.
As part of the team you will need to heap praise on the CEO.
Churn within the company is staggering (just look on linkedin!!)
You will need to be a counsellor to the CEO on personal issues.
You are expected to be on demand 24/7
- growing really fast but feels like a small company culture
- the summits are fun to work on and you learn a lot about tech and AI as they get the best speakers in the market
- there’s lots of freedom and autonomy to create ideas and develop them, mgt are open to backing everyone’s suggestions if we back them up
- mgt are mums and support other working parents
- everyone gets share options and there is a chance to get a cut of a future sale, they get offers monthly from buyers
- the mgt team and employees have been with the company from the beginning and it’s a good learning experience to see how they tackle new products, blitz scaling and pivoting since the pandemic - you learn a lot!!
They pay well and give you flexible time and all from home
Cons
- the company tried using freelancers instead of employees and it didn’t work for employees who pick up the workload. Mgt seem to be fixing this and are employing higher calibre permanent employees which is a relief for the team
- it’s a fast paced culture and sometimes the pace of growth is overwhelming albeit exciting
You get to work with people who passionate, driven and really care about making each project a success. Refreshing to be in a workplace where everyone's opinion counts, where it's an agile work environment and people matter.
Cons
The rate of expansion means you may not always get a seat in the office! :)
