Pros

Inspiritus empowers those who face challenges and disruptions: children who have been abused or neglected, people with developmental disabilities, refugees and immigrants, individuals affected by natural disaster, and people in low-income communities. I am constantly amazed and inspired by the work being done through this organization. Through my position here, I have the benefit of being in meetings with the top decision makers and have been impressed by how much thought goes into making sure their employees feel appreciated and are a valued teammate. The company holds monthly staff meetings, where they share accomplishments, challenges, and financial information, as well as recognizing new employees and those that have been promoted. I have worked for nonprofits most of my career and Inspiritus is a breath of fresh air!

Cons

Although I love working remotely, I do miss being in an office with my colleagues.
