Pros

Pretty views. Small classes. Comrades in misery. A narcissistic fantasy. High number of predatory male staff link arms and prey on naive forgotten lost rich kids whose parents have dumped them “there”. It’s pro, for the creeps. If you’re a creep you’ll be embraced protected and invited to the secret parties management has. Think … eyes wide shut. You would not be far off.

Cons

Lousy curriculum, horrible fake teachers, horrific idiots as team leaders who are bullies, don’t worry, everyone gets fired, not just you. Some students are children of Sinaloa cartel and some children have committed crimes, they can’t do anything worthwhile in life. It’s a nightmare.

Pros

* Located in scenic St. Gallen, with mountains and the lake nearby. * Small class sizes allow for close interaction with students. * A handful of truly inspiring, international colleagues and students.

Cons

* Privately owned by individuals with no educational background. The school is run like a business, not an academic institution. * Toxic work culture ruled by fear and micromanagement. Constructive feedback is treated as a threat. * Teachers live under constant threat of dismissal, often for no reason. * Staff are underpaid despite Switzerland's high cost of living. * Teachers are not paid during the extended holidays (only for the 4-week legal minimum). The "long breaks" are used to justify extremely low salaries. * Leadership lacks experience and professionalism. Senior management is disorganized and prioritizes pleasing ownership over sound academic policy. * Data is misused to evaluate teachers without considering the statistical insignificance of small class sizes. * Owners interfere with daily operations despite having no educational expertise. * No investment in staff development or wellbeing. * The school's focus is image and marketing—not genuine learning or community.

Pros

The company puts a lot of emphasis on innovation, which keeps the work interesting and challenging in a good way, even after many years. I was able to grow both professionally and personally, helped by an approachable leadership team that gives you trust and room to develop. The salary is solid and extra effort is compensated fairly. The overall atmosphere is very friendly, and the good facilities plus small everyday things like coffee, fruits, and the great food in the dining hall really make a difference day to day. The international environment is also quite unique for St. Gallen and adds a lot to the experience.

Cons

The pace can get a bit fast at times because of the innovation focus, but with the supportive culture it stays always manageable.
