Pros

It is a small company so, everyone knows one another. Many people have been in the company since inception (It was starts in the 1980s). They put family first - one of their major selling points in beginning the work day 8:30am to allow employees to drop off their kids.

Cons

Unfortunate timing. The abrupt changes in the economy and funding of federal grants in 2025 really put the company in a bind. IIR suffered a massive layoff of precedented proportions.

Pros

Can be a great place to work but very dependent on your project and direct manager. Very good on remote work and flexibility in that area.

Cons

Very old school in terms of benefits outside of remote work.
