Pros

If you enjoy reading, they provide free materials you can keep. Pay is okay, for training. Can’t think of anything else.

Cons

They will let you go if there aren’t enough sign ups in your area or they are dissatisfied with your performance that is only evaluated over a webcam for a week. I’ve been an actual teacher in a classroom with real children and was let go because during the first week during training I had finals to complete and wasn’t able to attend all the training times even when I communicated before hand that I had finals. Everything is read off of a long, boring script. The materials they use are very out dated. You have to follow exactly what they say and there is no room for creative freedom. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone trying to be an actual teacher and know how a real classroom functions, you will get frustrated with how they train.
