Pros

Decent salary, great location and for the most part wonderfull colleagues .

Cons

fair health benefits, minimal to no supervision with very little respect and regard for their employees (especially HR) Most concerning is the focus on numbers rather than person centered management. This is quite disturbing given the vunerable population that we service. This is evidenced in the lack of quality noted in Member's cases such as the necessary assements missing , the subpar generic assessments of the one's actually completed. The company talks endlessly about providing Person Center Treatment of its Members yet the reality is quite far from the truth. Having 10 plus years providing Person Center Treatment ,I find appalling how management is delusional in what they are actually providing. It is also upsetting to see fellow employees leave this company after 3-6 months. Im glad I purchased Malpractice Insurance . I cannot see myself working for this company on a longterm basis. I hope they can get it together.

Pros

The people you get to work with make the environment bearable. I met some truly amazing people there.

Cons

Caseload volume is high and unmanageable during 8 hrs, I never worked less than 12 hrs in the time I was there. Salary is decent, but no t when you factor in extra hours, and cost of subpar benefits. They are unable to keep people long term due to above, and only let certain people work from home, some have waited years. They are just starting to change the amount of time it takes to be able to work from home, but expect to be in the office min. 6mos. RNs have to do a lot of tedious clerical work they shouldn't have to do that takes up a lot of unecessary time which should be focused on members, the job is stressful, and you have no facetime with members, all interaction is by phone, and management is strictly focused on numbers, not quality of care. If you are goal oriented, organized, and like tedious repetitive work, and handle stress like a champ, you will like this job.
