Pros

*You will work with an amazing group of people that are resilient and hard workers. *Your co-workers help keep your spirits high, they become your family. *Compensation is the highest in the area. *Great company benefits.

Cons

You are overworked to the point of exhaustion. Management does not care about the people on the bench, they only care about the numbers and cutting the budget. There is very little recognition for good work, only finger-pointing for your mistakes. Techs are constantly being written up and told to slow down, but then are expected to cut 300+ blocks in 8 hours. Techs have to sit on broken chairs, even after requesting new chairs and being promised they would get them...nothing was ever done. Equipment fails all the time and you are still expected to produce good quality work with little to no supplies; often techs bring supplies from their home to make up for what is missing. High volume work-load with very little staff. IRL is always short staffed because they don't hire enough FT employees. When someone is out sick/vacation/other it derails production and forces everyone to work faster, often into overtime. There is never enough coverage to help during emergencies. Good employees always leave because of the conditions in this lab. People are always coming in and out...it's a revolving door. They can't keep the good ones because they are too blind to value them and appreciate their work. Your most passionate people become silent and unnoticed by management. Fumes are high in the lab, very poor ventilation, but maybe that's just the norm for this type of industry. Either way, they need to improve this for their employees, both IRL and industry wide!

Pros

Standard 401k Transfer to other hca facilities with open positions

Cons

.The work hours during close is unacceptable . We are expected to work until as late as midnight to get the close completed and come back to work the next day at regular business hours . You are also not getting paid overtime for this work because you are salaried. We also work on public holidays and weekends .You will also be expected to work more than a full day on Sunday if needed . This is not a job for someone who owns even a flower bed that needs to be watered . Do not be fooled at the interview because they are not upfront about the work hours.
