Pros

If nothing else, the pay is good.

Cons

This company cuts corners to the point of abuse. Management makes promises they know they cannot keep and asks employees to look the other way on serious issues. They should be taken out of business by DHS and Adult Protective Services. Direct care workers are worked to the bone without adequate support, and will be fired if management thinks the optics will help them cover up bigger issues with their contracts. They treat people like they don't matter at all and make negative comments about employees from diverse backgrounds. Don't work here if you want to be treated fairly or if you expect ethical actions from leadership.

Pros

Consumers are mostly cool. Very rewarding work. Variety of coworkers, very diverse. Most homes are located on buslines. Coworkers very supportive of each other.

Cons

Lack of support from case managers. Always short staffed. Training is only so-so. As always, budgetary issues are rampant. Consumers having behavioral issues always require more management support, which is not always available.
