I worked at Intelex Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This place has such a great employee culture. They provide you with a lot of benefits and employee activities "clubs" that allows to cross collborate with other teams and build relationships quickly. They are also pro family and even extent some of the benefits to the family members of the employees. I loved the sense of community and belonging they create

    Cons

The company has a startup culture which makes them very agile and things change constantly. Communication and clear leadership direction is hard to communicate across the company to the detriment of some of the newcomers

I worked at Intelex Technologies full-time

    Pros

H&S software is a must have for many companies and Intelex has a strong H&S suite of applications. The company is located downtown and they have a work from home policy.

    Cons

Outside of H&S, the Intelex offering is rather weak. The product needs a lot of services time which makes the sale challenging. The leadership in sales has a lot of people who have been there for too long, have a great sense of entitlement and consider Intelex unique and therefore unable to implement best practices from other organizations.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Intelex Technologies full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Solid access to cash and growth opportunities through the new owners (Fortive). Leadership feels more solid now and the strategy is starting to make more sense.

    Cons

Could still use some more unification across the various teams.

    I worked at Intelex Technologies

    Pros

Great on boarding, great company culture, good non core soft benefits

    Cons

    - Pay is probably at 60% of the market or perhaps the recruiter (who was an external) took advantage of me being a new immigrant to the country. - Benefits aren’t solid but there are some benefits that attract not just the Millennial crowd ;-) (breakfast Thursday’s, free pizzas for internal club meetings, a snooker room which cannot be used by the hard working groups as work is busy in customer facing implementation roles especially Enterprise division.

I worked at Intelex Technologies full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good culture if you like free things instead of comprehensive benefits

    Cons

Leadership makes changes with the wind, No consiistency with sales methodologies as it depends on the flavour of the month/year and the whim of the Chief Revenue Officer/Chief Customer Officer. One day its Challenger the next its Kaizen....someone remind me which way the wind is blowing please. Hire VP's in Sales with limited experience and only able to function at the micro level.....big picture what? Get the hell out of the way and let the real sales people sell!

  10. "Overall Good Company But Not for Everyone"

    I worked at Intelex Technologies

    Pros

Good managers in the Denver office Close knit community as office was smaller, around 50 people People were all very friendly and happy to help each other Flexible work hours Possible to work remotely Nice office Funding for after work clubs Good compensation for health insurance and 401k plans Company was trying to address some of the cons listed below when I left. Company is always trying to improve internal processes and expectations.

    Cons

-Upper management in Toronto seemed out of touch with Denver office needs. -Work load is highly variable depending on the time of year (sometime overwhelming, sometime not enough to meet required billable hours). -Little mobility or opportunities for long term growth within the company for the consultants. -No compensation for extended periods of overtime -Work felt repetitive after a while. -Once, there was a lay-off that seemed random. The managers in the Denver office had no say in determining the people selected to leave as the execs in Toronto made the decision without input. As a result people were asked to leave regardless of their performance record.
