Pros
Small company, so there is a wonderful "family" atmosphere. Husband & Wife owners are great and provide great work/life balance. Wonderful location in an historical building in Old Salem (historical district in Winston-Salem that includes living interpretation of the actual 17th century Moravian Community) Very brilliant and innovative people to work with. Extraordinary products.
Cons
Benefits are mediocre - Health Insurance has huge deductibles and long waiting period on 401K, Pay is low. Company sells in a niche segment of the healthcare industry and sales have been lacking. As is common with small companies, there is no HR group so standards in Employee Relations are determined "as needed" and vary from situation to situation or from employee to employee - your job can be here today and gone tomorrow - no notice, no due diligence, nothing. Very "close-lipped" regarding changes in resources, company direction, job duties, etc. which can result in surprises.

Flexible hours; team work environment; ability to quickly adapt to unexpected changes/pressures; family environment; flexible work schedule and little notice necessary to take time off; freedom to create and implement new solutions, ideas, and projects. Good pay
Cons
Family owned with family employees can sometimes lead to personal issues affecting work environment. So small everybody knows what is going on with your life. Under staffed. Requires self-education for most items.
