Pros

-Good salary -Good benefits -Great computers

Cons

-Managers gossip about employees personal lives with other employees. -Contracts are bid to win with no concern for time required to complete. This in turn falls upon the production teams to work 60+ hours a week with no overtime. -A large portion of employees are related or married. -On more than one occasion I was asked to charge work hours to projects I was not working on. On one specific occasion I was forced to charge a civilian clients hours to a military account.

Pros

A good starter job to get your foot in the door. The benefits when I worked here were pretty decent. Work/Life balance was good considering overtime was never that present. Certain teams and people were really fun to work with. A good amount of employees were very motivated and driven, it wasn't uncommon to see many learning new skills or bettering themselves. Some fun company culture and events like happy hours and work parties were really fun! Lots of things to work on, projects would last anywhere from several months to a year so you would always be touching something new and different.

Cons

Numerous workplace disputes would go unresolved or unmediated by HR leading to bad blood between numerous employees. This would create an incredibly hostile and vicious work environment were cliques would form to bully or gaslight other employees. Rampant nepotism was present. Poor vetting and hiring process ensured that no one was ever properly trained or even qualified to be taking on the kind of contracts the company obtained. Because of this poor recruitment process, certain employees worked harder while others skated by. Employees were pitted against one another, raises and project completion bonuses were seldom given to most, and the projects were uninspiring and tiresome. Administration, management and even HR were absent and located in a different office, creating an unsupervised and unprofessional bubble. The biggest issue with the company was the lack of vison and leadership.
