Pros
EXPERIENCE The experience you will gain from working at Interlink is far superior to that of other organizations. As a consultant primarily deploying Microsoft technologies and solutions, you are constantly working with the latest and greatest Microsoft has to offer. This gives you a competitive advantage against other non-Microsoft partner consulting firms. This is also beneficial in the event that you leave Interlink for another position elsewhere - companies are always looking to hire ex-consultants as they have a reputation for being capable, efficient, and knowledgeable. TEAM A critical part of gaining experience is working with an experienced team. All consultants at Interlink hold a variety of Microsoft certifications relevant to their area of expertise. If you've ever worked in IT, you know how awful Microsoft customer support can be, so being able to work closely with actual human beings with real-life experience and knowledge is a huge advantage to expanding your IT skillset. TELECOMMUTING Interlink allows employees to work from home. Often, I might add. This speaks to the management team's trust in its staff.
Cons
TIMESHEETS I hate timesheets, but they made me fill them out. This is more of a personal issue. PRESSURE Often times there is a great amount of pressure to get certain tasks or projects completed. This is not necessarily a negative to Interlink per se, but to the consulting industry as a whole. If you have never been a consultant before, this is something to consider.
