Pros

EXPERIENCE The experience you will gain from working at Interlink is far superior to that of other organizations. As a consultant primarily deploying Microsoft technologies and solutions, you are constantly working with the latest and greatest Microsoft has to offer. This gives you a competitive advantage against other non-Microsoft partner consulting firms. This is also beneficial in the event that you leave Interlink for another position elsewhere - companies are always looking to hire ex-consultants as they have a reputation for being capable, efficient, and knowledgeable. TEAM A critical part of gaining experience is working with an experienced team. All consultants at Interlink hold a variety of Microsoft certifications relevant to their area of expertise. If you've ever worked in IT, you know how awful Microsoft customer support can be, so being able to work closely with actual human beings with real-life experience and knowledge is a huge advantage to expanding your IT skillset. TELECOMMUTING Interlink allows employees to work from home. Often, I might add. This speaks to the management team's trust in its staff.

Cons

TIMESHEETS I hate timesheets, but they made me fill them out. This is more of a personal issue. PRESSURE Often times there is a great amount of pressure to get certain tasks or projects completed. This is not necessarily a negative to Interlink per se, but to the consulting industry as a whole. If you have never been a consultant before, this is something to consider.

Pros

This is hands-down the best team and leadership I’ve ever worked with. The culture is exceptional—from top to bottom—and it’s clear that leadership genuinely lives the company’s principles. They consistently prioritize the well-being of team members, and it shows. The company also fosters a healthy work/life balance, making it possible to thrive both professionally and personally. We’ve been a Best Places to Work finalist for eight consecutive years, and it’s easy to see why. The environment promotes collaboration, respect, and a strong sense of purpose.

Cons

Honestly, I can’t think of any. This company sets the bar high.

Pros

Leadership team is very open to feedback - they actually act on it Pay and benefits are pretty good Small enough of a company that you get to know everyone and you're more than just another warm body on the team VERY good about hiring talented people who are a good fit with the team Very accommodating when it comes to providing you with what you need to succeed Interlink is growing, but leadership is planning out the growth well. They're making sure that the right people are in the right spot to allow for meaningful and sustainable growth Flexible about time off You get a great chance to learn and refine your skills with Microsoft cloud solutions. Way better than some of the competitors

Cons

This one is on me. I was working out of TN and Interlink's dental policy at the time didn't have any dentists in network in TN, so I had to go to Bowling Green, KY for this work. However, once I mentioned this to leadership, they quickly evaluated and changed their offerings to include much better coverage. I should have said something sooner.
