Pros

100% paid health insurance. Willing to use technology.

Cons

This company is incredibly disorganized and unstable. Management is completely disconnected from what is happening at the lower levels and reactive to all situations. It's chaotic at best planning is not done effectively here. Accounting driven decision making. The biggest issue working here is that management does not value their employees. They could care less about their people. I honestly mean that! I have never worked for a company that cared less about their people's needs. Everything from HR problems to management scheming to take money from you through PTO schemes 60 day waiting periods for health insurance. It's always what works best for them. Another major issue is that they go through such huge swings in revenue. That makes them very unstable. Some years they are 30 mil in revenue and the next year 70 mil. It makes for an unstable work environment. 90% of the people that work there are less than 2 years. Management seems to fluctuate every two years as well. There is little stability that allows the company to develop processes and culture. It's truly chaotic at best! There are allot of very dissatisfied employees at the office. Low morale. Lots of safety incidents in the field.

Pros

Best benefits package in the industry. Some good, quality people in middle management

Cons

IME has a seriously alarming outlook. There seems to be major issues with the way the company approaches large projects, issues that likely start with the fact that the president of the company is an accountant, not an electrician. This means planning is bad, strategy is bad and execution is bad. IME is the type of company that fails to perform, blames everyone else, does a round of firings and ends up in court with every GC they do work with. It's not a sustainable business model and unfortunately one that in all likelihood will end with them closing their doors sooner than later.
