A great way to get your foot in the door but not for long term.
Pros
This is a good company to put on your resume and gain some experience in the field of background screening. They are really flexible when it comes to taking time off and they attempt to make an effort to show appreciation for their employees by doing team building "outings"
Cons
There is a lack of respect for non upper management employees. There isn't a reliable or trustworthy Human resource department when it comes to problems or concerns in the workplace. They are currently implementing some form of "structure" so be ready to constantly be uncomfortable about the dynamics of the job. The office is small so the opportunity to create a family environment is great but it's currently not there. The upper management, including your direct management, may acknowledge your presence (even just a simple hello) about once a week. Very antisocial. The current company president claims that he wants to "hire within" but I've only seen one person be promoted. There is no actual room for advancement or growth. Training is very minimal. The company is growing rapidly and making millions yet the employees are not being properly taken care of financially.
