Pros

Casual workplace, great for self starter types. Having worked call centers for Shaw and Telus over the years Lightspeed was a great place. They focus on making sure customers have a good experience from support, not completely focused on numbers and metrics. Still expect you to work, but you do not feel like there is someone standing behind you all day watching you. The place has a wide range of unique personalities, and got along with most. Ones I did not, I just avoided. Causal street dress, and no corporate culture that tries to dominate your life, just do your job and do it well and no issues.

Cons

Transit at the new location is a bit of an issue, but not managements problem that one is on Translink.

Pros

Worked for Internet Lightspeed doing telephone and in-store sales at their location in Burnaby. The pay was good, sales staff were easy to work with. The other staff members I interacted with were pretty cool as well. The pay started out as average but with the bonus system in sales, it grew as I got more familiar with the products and processes.

Cons

The company is growing at such a fast pace that you are sometimes receive mixed directives from management, which are easily resolved.
