Pros

Many of my co-workers were hard working and smart but they were repeatedly treated poorly, unsupported by leadership and deceived. Significant layoffs at the end of 2017 so the owners could "make the books look better" to get private investment dollars. As soon as some negative Glassdoor reviews were posted after the layoffs the owners went on a campaign to create false reviews to counteract a poor rating. In particular the owners egos couldn't handle being called out. It's no coincidence that 6 new glowing reviews have been posted in the past week. No self-respecting employee would rave about the company after many of your co-workers were laid off so the owners could make a few extra dollars. It is clear in the tone they are written that these reviews are so over the top that they are not real. This is just one example of how the owners conduct themselves in a shady manner.

Cons

-Owners are only interested in their own self-interests and conduct business in questionable manner. -Operations and process are a mess -Execs would rather hide in their offices than deal with difficult conversations or situations. -No one is held accountable, the lowest performers get promoted just because they are desperate to keep more people from leaving. -No plan or vision except to make empty promises about bonuses and promotions.

Pros

-Free Breakfast on wednesdays -unlimited PTO -Summer Fridays (may be discontinued)

Cons

- Health benefits were a major perk up until last week. Premiums have increased drastically and peripheral benefits like Short Term Disability have disappeared. - No leadership from top down. Exec team is a joke. Completely disconnected from the worker bees. - CEO and President are too preoccupied with "pet projects" to run the actual agency. - CEO would rather spend tons of $$$ on Sonos systems (because its too "quiet") yet no one got bonuses last year. Wasteful spending on supporting alcoholism.

Pros

Independence to do what you want, how you want Unlimited PTO

Cons

WORST of all, look at the "random" batch of January reviews that all have perfect ratings. How likely is it that all of these reviews happened within the same month or so, with perfect ratings, hardly anything bad to say. Looks like Brandon (who loves money over people) may have been encouraging some positive reviews after their Q4/Q1 issues. - They have annual layoffs ever December - They've had 20+ people either quit or be laid off in the last 5 months - Their CEO is distracted by his other (more important company) Vitacup - Their President cares more about the clients (money) than employees - Executive team does not get along - No bonuses or raises (except if you're brandon and want a tesla) - They introduced Unlimited PTO, but first FORCED people to use PTO so they wouldn't have to pay them out as much. - Analytics are always an issue - Aren't organized and aren't future focused (how can you be when you're operating a totally different business on the side like Vitacup) - I've worked at 5 agencies in my career - by far the worst.
