Really the best

Pros

This is a terrific company to work for. Everyone is very thoughtful about their work and how it intersects with others. I have encountered zero sharp elbows or political infighting. Until this company I thought "all the same team" was more trite than true for most organizations. There are significant opportunities for advancement and the company thinks carefully about how to cultivate skills. The company's deep domain expertise in public sector websites provides the opportunity to get it right.

Cons

The company is growing quickly along with the systems it deploys to serve clients. This means that if you find change in your day to day toolset problematic you will need to adapt.

Great Place to Work

Pros

* I love working on projects that make a difference in people's lives. We help citizens access and utilize essential services. * The company is grounded in its mission and principles. They are more than just words on paper. We actually use them to drive direction and review our accomplishments. * My coworkers are competent, confident, communicative...I've run out of C words. I've rarely had the pleasure of working with a team this strong. * I love working remote and not having a commute. But video conferencing rules mean we still "see" each other on screen. There is still a strong sense of 'team'. I'm not alone despite working from home.

Cons

* Variation in the number of active projects can lead to cycles of "not enough to do" and "completely overwhelmed". I.F. does their best to mitigate, but it happens.
