Pros

Marketable product if executed correctly

Cons

Having worked at Invaluable for a few years, and having only recently left, it's clear to me that these recent favorable posts were written by Invaluable brass as a means of combating the negative reviews. The careful diction and buzz-words make the reviews seem like want ads. This is not a good place to work. There is little to learn due to the ineptitude of employees and especially those at the senior level, who would be mid-level managers at any legitimate company, if that. This is especially true of the tech/engineering and product management leaders. Sales team is made up of good people, but due to the limited offerings and lackluster understanding of the landscape by those in charge, they're being set up for failure if they choose to move elsewhere.

Pros

Free lunch on Fridays. Great coworkers. They make it worth it to come to work everyday.

Cons

Management hires from other startups that they know instead of looking for other talent. Low worker morale. Use of alcohol as an award. A male dominated culture. No women in management. No place for advancement. Low pay for tons of work. Sitting there waiting to see who won't be showing up at work the next day. Tense.

Pros

Beer and Food on Friday Mainly younger kids Twin Donuts is across the street

Cons

Sales training is sub-par... "you either get it or you dont, we can find somebody else easily" - which is a laugh considering they are looking for entry level/ 1 year experience. Benefits and compensation are a joke - don't get sucked in to the "you can make 75k your first year here" because you wont make that in two. Management doesn't think like a CEO and would rather hire a new employee and burn the ROI of a current one because training successful people isn't in the budget. If you would like to work for Blake from Glenngary Glenn Ross step up to the plate - but expect to work like a modern day slave for minimal pay but hey at least you get to relax with a beer after right?
