Pros

Ok benefits and salary, nice team members.

Cons

My manager appeared to have a lot of mental health issues. The leadership is disorganized and do not seem to care about staff.

Pros

I was fortunate enough to have an inspiring supervisor who was organized and genuinely cared about the children. -consistent hours -small groups allowed individual attention so class management was simple -the staff meetings were useful for sharing ideas about lesson planning

Cons

-the merger with Children's Village happened which temporarily froze our funding to have field trips so our activities were limited for the rest of the year - It's a part-time job so obviously it won't pay that much. 3-4 hours per day -your experience depends on who is your supervisor. There's one for each school site. -not a lot of opportunities to move up but it's still decent experience as entry level
