      Just another non-descript federal consulting company.

      Pros

      Some cool company outings. Latitude to solve client issues creatively, so long as the client remains happy/satisfied. Mobile internet hot-spots.

      Cons

      If you're not part of the senior management team, you're just a "butt in a seat." No clearly articulated company strategy. No clear path for upward mobility. Very little appetite for innovation or strategic business improvement. Management pays lip service to employee engagement, but ideas for innovation, business strategy, etc. are not seriously considered if you're not one of the few people in senior management (regardless of your expertise or credentials). Salaries not commensurate with credentials (unless credentials are CPA, CGFM, or tech developer bona fides). Base salaries significantly lower than similar roles at other firms in the region.

Specific credentials are an important part of the industry we support, so we provide funding to cover the training and certification exams for those who want to pursue them. We are proud of the fact that our company has an above average retention rate and has been named one of The Best Places To Work in Washington, DC for two years in a row. Employees tell us that our salaries and benefits are highly competitive when compared to both small and large companies in our industry. We wish our former employee much success in the future and hope they find what they are looking for in an organization.

      Pros

      I have worked for IronArch Technology (IAT) for over a year and have loved every minute of it! The management is approachable, knowledgeable, and driven. You often hear of set backs working for a small company, but those are not true with IAT. They are able to provide excellent support to both their employees and clients, making it a great atmosphere to work in and a respected company to be apart of.

      Cons

      As with any company IAT has run into obstacles, but has quickly adjusted and overcome.

      Trust Your Instinct. Don't do it

      Pros

      Pros - This company is small. The CEO and President are easy to approach. The company has nice happy hours and events. Everyone receives fancy resume titles. Most employees have manager titles.

      Cons

      This company is small. They lose business due to company error and a lack of professionalism from people that shouldn't be leaders. You can easily be a leader if you are a friend to the higher ups. However, when projects are lost due to incompetence, there is no place to go. You will be jobless. They claim to know people and will help you, but good luck. Same as the other reviewer, this company won't be around long.
