      Failing Company With Failing Values

      Pros

      "fun environment" that does not lead to work getting done. The people are nice and friendly on the surface.

      Cons

      Leadership has no idea how to run a company, consistently lie or mislead their employees. Expects you to break their own code of conduct as well as other governmental regulations regarding passwords. Will never look at an employee over themselves or the client. Employees are expendable as long as they have a replacements (however with so few employees it is often hard).

      An organization that doesn't value it's staff

      Pros

      There is a happy hour about once a year that I can't take part of as I work remotely.

      Cons

      Unstable company despite being in an explosive industry. Having a surprise lay-off 2 weeks before Christmas (2017) to right the books is inexcusable. A COO was brought on to right the ship 2+ years ago and his "below the line" behaviour has only been successful in firing his work force. Raises are nonexistent but empty promises run rampant from leadership.

      Some really great people work here!

      Cons

      CEO and COO are extremely callous and disinterested in their employees unless you are in the clique. Frequent lay-offs. Last one I know of was ONE week before Christmas. No warning. Didn't have the decency to wait until the new year. The office space is a little embarrassing to bring clients into.
