      Good company, poor technical leadership and heavy politics in India

      Pros

      The company as a whole is decent. US-based staff are professional, supportive, and helpful. WFH policy, 2 days office.

      Cons

      Management in India is extremely poor and heavily political Focus is more on optics, status calls, and blame-shifting than actual delivery Certain managers have zero technical competence and should not be in leadership roles Some managers function only as Scrum Masters—collecting updates and forwarding them—without any understanding of coding, databases, or the product Lack of technical leadership directly impacts quality, timelines, and team morale Leadership here functions purely as status collectors, not problem solvers or decision makers

      Seniors are supportive, Work from home is provided. Exposure to work with US based management.

      Cons

      Vast product with hardly any documentation, Small requirement can bulge into a weekend long affair but the chargeability provided will be based on the discussion with developer in the beginning of sprint. Deployment is so slow, one small requirement can take upto 6 hours for deployment and even then the process might fail and noone will notify you , All the wasted time is not included in the estimate. Pune based staff including QA prefers working in local language instead of being professional and doesn't cooperate with developers at all despite short deadlines.
