Fantastic leadership

Pros

The level of Leadership I witnessed in Sydney was top notch, I have left due to outside circumstances and the VP of the region could not have handled the situation and my mental health with any more empathy and compassion. A truly rare find is this place. The level of quality in the rest of the team is top notch and I have no doubts this organisation is in the most capable hands possible.

Cons

During my time I didn't come across any cons

Pros

For starters they have a genuinely disruptive product that is kicking goals globally. Beyond that the team have a clear vision, purpose and live true to that.

Cons

Like any fast-paced startup there is always a risk of major directional changes in strategy

It's a trap!

Pros

Although there have been many departures, the company still has talented people in the trenches who are a pleasure to work with and very helpful. In addition, the pay and benefits are very good and customers seem to love the product.

Cons

If you're looking for an environment where you can utilize your expertise and make a real difference, look elsewhere. The executive leadership team lacks general leadership experience and it shows. The CEO operates with a “my way or the highway” mentality and has created an environment of intense micromanagement and zero trust. The only way to succeed here is to stay silent and do exactly what you’re told. There's no room for creativity or independent thought, and any questions or deviation from the script will likely get you fired. It’s a tragedy how much talent went to waste here because of this. Many of the top talent and experienced leaders have left the company already, and I believe more will follow. The disorganization and lack of communication here is also a major problem. Despite efforts by experienced team members to address these issues, they have largely gone unheeded. It’s a chaotic work environment where it feels like everyone is crashing into each other all the time. This leads to a lot of wasted effort and confusion, and it makes it very difficult to make any real progress. The autocratic leadership, constant micromanagement, poor communication and the ongoing fear of being fired at any moment makes it a toxic and demoralizing workplace. Stay away if you value your sanity!
