Pros

good benefits and nice people off the manager area

Cons

I worked at iscar for the last 3.5 years As a Full-Stack web developer at marcom department The HR representative is lousy and shows little concern for the workers or their well-being. Instead of supporting employees, they seem disconnected from the real issues workers face. The managers are no better — they appear to work mostly out of pride and ego, making decisions that benefit themselves rather than caring about the people actually doing the work. There is little empathy, poor communication, and a lack of genuine concern for employees as individuals.

Pros

Mostly great human capital. Most of the core staff is talented, professional, and dedicated. There is a lot of potential in the employees, but unfortunately, it is being wasted.

Cons

Primitive HR & Conditions: The company is stuck in the past. Benefits are subpar, including no compensation for transportation and rigid leave policies (no negative vacation balance). These outdated conditions are causing many good employees to leave. Mismanagement: The Quality Department is disorganized and led by an arrogant manager who prioritizes ego over professional processes and makes unrealistic demands. Stagnant Quality: High number of deviations with no year-over-year improvement. KPIs remain poor because management refuses to address root causes. Lack of Consistency: Major operational gaps and different standards between manufacturing plants; there is no unified quality culture. Nepotism: A "closed club" culture where promotions are based on seniority and connections rather than merit, making it nearly impossible for talented outsiders to advance.
