Pros

Managers can use their Islands comp cards to eat over priced and mediocre food for free... They could even use it to drink alcohol.

Cons

For hourly employees: Hourly wages are low compared to other full service restaurants. FOH employees only work 2-4 hours a shift. BOH employees only work 4-5 hours a shift. Work/Life Balance: They mention weekends off for GMs and consecutive days off... yes, but you are always "on call" and end up working the "hourly" shifts as a fry cook or grill cook on your day off . So, it never feels like you had a day off or quality time with family. Upper management is condescending and on a high horse. Most are hypocrites and back stabbers that hide behind the "culture" to get away with it.

Pros

It's all positive until their true colors come out

Cons

I hated working here. I couldn't take it any longer. Everything this place tries to enforce is just a bunch of crap. You can be the most genuine person/hard working and they will put a druggie fake piece of scum above you in better sections just because the management is just as fake. Glad to be gone and actually focussing on a career that than poo hole.

Pros

You get their food for a discount.

Cons

Customers can you treat you poorly and there's nothing you can do about it. No promotion unless you become a server, but most servers are "lifers." They'll never leave. Also you have to do a lot of clean up and it's not worth the money. Cleaning nasty tables, the bathroom, the messes created in a 3 foot radius around any infants in their high chairs.
