Pros

One of the best Universities in engineering in Turkey. Well located and great opportunities for research. Students are motivated. Easy access to the University by metro.

Cons

Not enough working space for students and sometimes for academics. If you need to travel within the city it might become a nightmare to get to the university during rush hours.

Being the institution that offers the most respected and established engineering education in Turkey. Having a globally recognized diploma and a highly powerful alumni network that opens doors in the industry. Hosting a vibrant campus life, particularly at the Ayazağa campus, which offers extensive facilities and is intertwined with R&D and technopark companies.

Cons

The high academic stress placed on students due to the extreme difficulty of exams and the highly competitive grading curve system. The student affairs and administrative bureaucracy operating in a quite slow, complex, and exhausting manner at times. The physical infrastructure of certain faculty buildings and laboratories becoming outdated and in urgent need of modernization.
