Mixed experiences with food but poor staff treatment

Working as a grocery clerk at this store has been an extremely frustrating experience. The environment is disrespectful, and the training provided is far below what employees should reasonably expect. Clear favoritism toward a small group of close friends while the rest of the team is largely left without support or guidance. The attitude often comes across as arrogant and dismissive. There is some knowledgeable and keeps operations running efficiently, but unfortunately communication style and lack of tact make him very difficult to work with on a daily basis. warehouse and shipping, creates an especially toxic atmosphere. Behaves disrespectfully toward coworkers, acts as though is the only competent person in the department, and regularly belittles others. In my experience, his behavior also came across as discriminatory and deeply inappropriate for a workplace. Overall, I would strongly caution anyone considering working at this location, particularly in the grocery department.
