      Great People, Extremely Poor Management

      Pros

      Most of the people at Ixxus are fantastic, and it's a great place for developers. The business is solid and it's definitely going places.

      Cons

      While management claim to listen to employees about any issues they're having or what they want, this was not personally the case. It feels very much like an employee is a statistic to be siphoned off to whatever project needs them. Normally this would not necessarily be a bad point, business do work this way. However, upper management will act all chummy and friendly, pretending to listen to your concerns, but ultimately ignoring them.

      Pros

      Overall good place to work, most of the people are friendly, good co-workers with a team attitude and good technical ability. The atmosphere is pretty friendly and they seem conscious of creating a good culture – feedback surveys and reviews to processes.

      Cons

      Alfresco is used for most projects, it has a very slow release cycle which can be frustrating. Some of the senior technical team and PMs can be political/cliquey at times, which isn't necessary and goes against the 'good culture' ethic. Hours can be long, some of the projects seem rushed.
