Pros

- Youth friendly organisation - No grouping among colleagues

Cons

- Work culture is boss centric instead of being system centric - Boss don't receive feedbacks from employees but makes unnecessary shouting, bullying, insulting in front of other colleagues. - Autocratic, not democratic. - Disrespectful to senior colleagues if any disputes take place

Pros

Working at JAAGO Foundation is a deeply rewarding experience that goes beyond conventional employment. The organization is mission-driven and offers a platform to create tangible change in the lives of underserved communities, especially in the areas of education, youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, and climate action. Visionary Leadership: The senior management leads with compassion, clarity, and commitment. They are accessible, transparent, and invested in the personal and professional growth of every team member. Collaborative Culture: There is a strong sense of unity, purpose, and mutual respect across departments. Cross-functional collaboration is encouraged, and every voice is heard—regardless of position. Capacity Building & Learning: JAAGO actively invests in staff training and development. I've had opportunities to attend national workshops, design impactful projects, and engage with global development partners. Work-Life Balance: The foundation respects work-life boundaries. Flexible work arrangements are provided when needed, which is rare in the non-profit space. Impact-Driven Environment: Every day is filled with meaningful work—from planning skill-building initiatives for youth to responding to community needs in rural Bangladesh. The sense of purpose is unmatched.

Cons

The pace can be demanding due to the dynamic nature of the development sector, and roles often require multitasking. However, the learning curve is steep and the challenges are fulfilling.
