Pros

- I cant really think of a lot to be honest. I was at the business for 1 year and i must say i hated every minute.

Cons

- I found the CEO to be aggressive - from what i heard and saw he bullied my boss to the point of him getting sick - there was no clear strategy - no research behind what they wanted to do - poor systems - commission thresholds levels were unbelievably high - poor brand - poor reputation - track record of hire/ fire - in fact - worst business i have ever worked for

JAM Recruitment Response
4y
Whilst your characterisation of JAM is wildly at odds with what our current team members say, you will be pleased to hear that we have listened to our current and former employees. We have moved to a new office location, which goes hand in hand with our reinvigorated people strategy, focussing on our employees, their welfare and work-life balance. We would still like to hear your feedback in greater detail. If you’d like to contact your old manager or John Morris directly, we’d love to understand a little more. It’s always difficult when people post anonymous reviews, especially when we can see from feedback we receive that people like working at JAM and can appreciate the great strides we are making. Of course, we are going all out to make it even better, and whilst it will never be 100% percet, we are targeting ourselves on becoming the recruitment consultancy of choice for the best recruiters in this region.

Lack of support

Pros

Friendly immediate team and good location.

Cons

Very obvious hierarchy, management often swear at staff and push them to do work in unreasonable time limits / work to unrealistic deadlines. Very little / no support. No flexibility and lack of care for work life balance. Poorly paid and undervalued. Not much in terms of career progression. No L&D. Distinct lack of respect.
