Pros

None. Every day is a challenge/struggle here. I'm not sure what's next for me.

Cons

Unfortunately I have seen many people come and go from this place and we are a very small group. I have seen many recruiters crying based on management and ownership "coaching" and also very frustrated employees. All of this creates a very negative atmosphere. No proper work/life balance here. I have witnessed multiple recruiters getting fired just in time to NOT receive their commissions and the ownership conveniently keep both halves. I think this is how the business is growing year to year. It's definitely not worth it. Keep looking.

First we would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our employees& ;#039; input is valuable to us and we take it very seriously. We strive to have a positive team culture in our small company, but not everyone who we thought would be successful when we hired them is cut out for a career in recruiting. With that said, we truly care about each and every one of our employees and work with them to find a way to balance their work/life and be successful. Our company has worked hard to become one of America's Fastest Growing Companies as has been identified by Inc. 5000 Magazine 6 years in a row. We are definitely not home-based, as our office is headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI (although a few of our part-time employees are parents who work from their home as we support them in their efforts to raise their children with the ability to work remotely). Additionally, we abide by Glassdoor's rules of never coercing our employees to write reviews. Those that do so make the decision on their own. Our benefits are in line with companies our size across the country, and will most likely be more affordable than ACA in the coming year. We do utilize Excel spreadsheets for many purposes in our company, as it is a great tool utilized by millions of people in successful businesses, however, we do not utilize it to "Run" our business. In addition, the decision to fire an employee is never made without much time invested in the person to assist them in becoming successful in whatever ways they might need. Termination is always an agonizing decision, and one that is never made lightly. However, a negative attitude that affects the positive culture we strive to maintain will usually result in termination. We wish you all the best in finding a career that suits you and one you can find success in.

Pros

There are some nice people working there

Cons

The pay for recruiters is dismal and is a true draw. It will be over a year before you make more than $35,000. The supervisor is lacking people skills. Health insurance is the only insurance iffered and is expensive with high deductibles. You are expected to work evenings and weekends. High turnover

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, as we value the input of our employees to help us become all we were created to be as a company. We do have an amazing group of people working here, and our culture is positive and feels like a family. Recruiting is a demanding career that does take time to learn, especially in the first year to 18 months. We have had many successful people that learned from the ground up and have now been with us 6 years+. Not everyone is cut out for recruiting though, and it is a high turnover industry. But those who invest in becoming successful will be greatly rewarded with the commission on top of the salary. Additionally, our management team is always open to feedback and strives to grow alongside the rest of our team. We believe in all our people, and will continue to invest in their professional and personal growth. We wish you all the best in finding a career that suits you.
