Pros
I LOVED the members & my job
Cons
Don't get hurt and file a workman's comp. claim. They'll FIRE you before you can come back to work without any restrictions & lie to to WC and tell them you called in and resigned. I slipped on the pool deck (after it had been resurfaced x3 and getting resurfaced again the NEXT day) with a 2 yr old in my arms that I was taking into the water for swimming lessons. Instead of dropping her, I grabbed her tightly in my right arm and slammed my heels on the ground. I broke 2 molars (which resulted in them BOTH getting pulled, 1 implant & 1 bridge) & ruptured my bicep tendon. After 14 months of dental work & 6 months of extensive rehab on my shoulder, I had 1 more month of physical therapy before my Dr was going to release me back to FULL duty, but the JCC said i called in to resign!! (I still have a master set if keys to the facility, text messages with my director stating interest in returning back to work, no signed paperwork of resignation) I lost out on my last month of PT & my measly weekly WC pay & a job I LOVED. Now their WC company wants to low ball my claim. It's been 2.5 years and my claim is STILL isn't settled.
