Pros

Everyone who is on your same pay grade are incredible, honestly. Teams leads and captains are hit or miss. Some care about your growth, others are there to socialize and show off their latest Gucci belt

Cons

I’ve never worked for a company that cares more about numbers and statistics than employee satisfaction and personal development. Why is it important to send out stats every hour and make each breathing second a competition? Pro tip: not everyone thrives in a competition environment, learn your employees, make them work in a comfortable environment because THEY are the ones making loans close and bringing you a monthly profit greater than what some employees make in a year. Why is a bad day looked down upon and the good days where you achieve your personal best are not spoken of? What if someone is having a rough day? It’s inevitable, who cares? They are trying their best. Appreciate small wins. Why is it okay for the President to say employees are over payed when upper management doesn’t live and breathe the daily frustration and struggles we handle everyday? Why is it okay to say employees are over payed but it’s okay to contribute multiple hundred+ thousand dollar donations to the community because “it’s important to give back.” How about giving back to the employees who are spending less time with our families because we’re worried about getting fired if we don’t complete everything in one day? Make employees happy to keep us motivated to do our job which brings you a way too large of a profit than you deserve, then worry about the community. The community won’t close your loans, your employees will.

Pros

Free food from time to time Work events

Cons

Management sleeps with executives. This place is like a fraternity. You only move up if you’re related to someone or sleeping with someone or favorited by someone higher up. This job has discriminated against so many employees not just me. I have endured racism as well as lots of sexual harassment from loan officers and from other women here. They have placed young girls who aren’t even 18 on superior roles to where they will treat it like high school. My actual interview the ceo Justin couldn’t stop staring at my chest and made a remark about my hair once it wasn’t straight like it was in the interview. The owner has a terrible wrap sheet and will constantly make videos on how you should love to work there. They try to bribe you with catered lunches to make you think it’s a great place to work but really you just work your butt off to not be appreciated and to be disrespected in the process. Management is under qualified they have no mortgage or management experience whatsoever so everyone is just running each other into the ground while scamming customers out of their hard earned money by providing terrible client service and misinformation. Beware if this company.

Pros

I had some wonderful direct leaders in Closing. Very engaged, supportive, provided both positive and constructive feedback to help you grow. Very upbeat and professional. Also responded to questions, needs, in a timely manner. Loved the work, great work life balance, benefits, etc. Great CEO, very motivated and driven to have a successful company for himself and the employees.

Cons

Had a very good review in the beginning of the week with my leader, ranked in top 3 on my team, then on Friday, was called into a conference call by upper management, with other members from the closing team and was advised, changes in closing, no longer need us, this is your last day, if you have questions call HR, IT will contact you about returning your equipment log off, bye and she then she hung up. In all my years of working, I have never been let go from a job in such an unprofessional and cold manner. It would of been nice to know why I was one of the ones selected to be let go, so I could learn and improve for my next work experience.
