Pros

There are no benefits other than being employed.

Cons

There's literally no benefits to working here other than having a job. They don't even cover your personal health insurance. Just a small percentage. If you have a family you'd be better off on welfare. Luckily my partner has health coverage or I'd be better off working at McDonald's after the premiums. I've sold cars at a few dealerships and this is the worst. They actually cut your pay when you're doing good. They stopped our unused vacation from rolling over and stopped cash outs not long ago. And recently they stopped using our average hourly pay and switched to a lower flat rate for everyone. Even if you're the top sales person you get paid the same hourly rate as the worse salesperson. They also cut our commission plan and blamed it on covid even though profit has been through the roof according to my managers. Dont waste your time applying here. You won't be appreciated no matter how hard you work or how productive you are. There's a reason why no managers or salespeople stay long term. They preach family and Aloha but there is none. That's why they have to keep hiring people from the mainland. It's a small island and everyone knows JN is the worst dealer group to work for. I heard JN was way better when the father ran things.

Pros

There are still some talented and very nice people working there. But I see them quittng or retiring in the next 2 years.

Cons

High turnover! Not valued as an employee with many years invested with the company. No work life balance! Many employees personal lives are ruined due to having to work hard for this company and little appreciation. CEO will NOT value you. He will see you as someone that can be replaced. Employees are in fear of telling the CEO the issues that need to be addressed. Ones that are quitting that do voice their concerns to him are ignored. CEO cares more about winning and the bottom line then the community and being a successful and efficient company. Don’t work here! When you are miserable and looking to want to quit after a few months, don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Pros

Not much pros other than the paycheck didn't bounce.

Cons

Too many. The owner made made us work during the pandemic and turned the lights off during the lock down, just so the police wouldn't shut us down. He put all of our lives in jeapordy. He also cut our pay one year and offered us life insurance as a consolation prize. Funny thing is he cancelled our life insurance without telling anyone! I only found out when I asked Hr for more info on the policy. Their response was Brad cancelled it and no comment. They also try to find ways to cut your pay whenever they can. There's also no family health insurance. Expect to pay over $1k if you have one person to insure. $1700+ if we have two other people to insure. How can anyone afford to work here?
