Pros

-Wide range of local government projects -Professional development opportunities (typically team trainings and limited funding for personal trainings)

Cons

-Extremely toxic culture (leadership makes petty business decisions that hurt the company/reputation) -Company values money over its staff’s well being/mental health -High turnover (In 2022, 10+ people left JPW. Small company of <15 to begin with. Lack of urgency in rehiring resulted in staff burnout.) -Company values (humble, hungry, smart) discourages diversity in people and mindsets.

- Diverse projects and campaigns that effect people's every day life - Small team that works collaboratively - Wide variety of opportunities to work in all aspects of marketing and communications

Cons

- Fast-paced environment with a lot of competing priorities. - The company has experienced a lot of growing pains (mostly with turnover) due to organizational changes relating to the company maturing. The short-term effect has been stressful for those who remain, but it feels like the company is headed in the right direction.

-Doing good work for the communities that we get to serve -Being a part of a small team means everyone makes a big impact and the company can be more agile (can be negative for those who don’t like change) -Bright future ahead after a big year of change in 2022 -Company values stability for its employees -Not your typical burn-and-churn agency life

Cons

-Small team can be heavily impacted by low performers -Many staffing changes in past year has caused some turbulence -Client work is constantly changing and priorities are always changing. Can get overwhelming at times.
