Pros

I have nothing positive to share

Cons

I was initially beyond excited to work for a toy company. And I wasn't going to leave a review at all, but then I saw my previous position posted online and my heart started pounding thinking of the next person that would be subjected to that. The work environment is the worst I've ever worked in. Micromanagement that trickles down. People are stressed out constantly, they don't want their superior to yell at them so instead they get mad at you and micro manage you to make sure you don't make them look bad. Even with that though there was no training and no direction. I was just expected to know the entirety of the company and my job responsibilities the moment I sat down on day one. My boss would stand behind me and watch me work often and if I wasn't doing something the way he would do it it was wrong. I had to guess and do things wrong little by little until I made him, and another employee, with fully opposing views, happy. I was treated as if I should be able to mind-read and even though I am very skilled in what I was hired for my opinion less than mattered on moving forward with anything within that realm. I felt very clostrophobic admidst it all. My stress at handling the roller coaster of emotions of those around me, and trying to keep the calm, weakened my immune system and I started getting sick regularly. The moment I parted ways with the company I felt a huge weight lifted, I felt free. The best advice I can give, is if you find this review after you've found yourself into this position, don't be afraid to talk to HR. That being said, they have little control of outcomes in these types of situations. Further: -frequent weekend work -was asked for unpaid work from home -poor covid handling -no resources for concerns/complaints -higher ups yell at each other openly in the halls -very rarely saw anyone at the company smile -scheduled reviews not followed through with, and not an open discussion when they do happen -no maternity leave -90 day probation with no paid leave during that time -annual raises only when company toy sales are on the rise

Pros

None- they treat their employees like animals.

Cons

They are unclear in communication, they verbally and emotionally abuse their employees and do not provide any work-life balance whatsoever. They have no idea how to treat individuals with respect or the idea that employees have a life outside of work. I had a partner that worked there and they were mistreated and bullied everyday by management. Management even illegally set up ways to watch employees because they didn’t trust them enough to get work done. Extremely manipulative management that doesnt care about their employees or growth of any kind. If someone tries to advocate for themselves, they are punished and treated like scum on someone’s shoe. I would not wish anyone to work here. This place should honestly be shut down.
