Working for the right franchisee makes all the difference in the world. Mine was first class. No helicopter management. We were trusted s tax professionals to do the work. They were there to help and support us as needed. High business and moral standards. Many clients commented that we were friendlier and more willing to go the extra mile than our competitors.
Cons
Proprietary tax preparation software takes a while to learn and is not very flexible, especially for experienced tax preparers. It doesn't look or act like software that most preparers are familiar with and doesn't allow you to skip around or view actual tax forms until you're finished.
