Pros

Incredible residents and (theoretical) mission.

Cons

Horribly understaffed. Management is incompetent, does not care about clients, client safety, the whole nine yards. OHA: Our facility went without on-site RN coverage for several months despite this being a requirement in Oregon. Two of our staff committed suicide in the span of a month. Please ask our management about this, I'm sure they'd love to cover it up further.

Pros

Jackson House in Oregon City is truly a gem in the field of mental health care. As someone who has referred multiple clients to this facility, I have consistently seen successful outcomes and meaningful progress in their treatment journeys. The compassionate, individualized care provided here is nothing short of exceptional. What sets Jackson House apart is its deep commitment to both client and staff well-being. They foster an environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported making a genuine impact on mental health recovery. Their trauma-informed approach, skilled staff, and welcoming atmosphere create a safe space for healing and personal growth. Not only is Jackson House a top-tier choice for treatment, but it’s also a fantastic place to work. The leadership team truly values their staff and creates a supportive culture rooted in respect, empathy, and collaboration. When caregivers feel empowered and respected, it directly translates into better care for clients and that’s exactly what you see at Jackson House. This is a place where lives are changed, hope is restored, and people are given the tools they need to thrive. I highly recommend Jackson House to anyone seeking quality respite care or considering a meaningful career in mental health.

Cons

Jackson House has no cons.
